Introduction
Welcome to my Digital Portfolio! My name is Luis Perez and I teach biology, earth science, and algebra I at MAAC Community Charter School in the city of Chula Vista. I have always lived in Southern California; from L.A. County to San Diego County. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine in 2001 with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and attended National University to complete my teaching credential requirements. Currently, I am pursuing my M.Ed. degree in Teacher Leadership at High Teach High. Besides educating and empowering my students, I also enjoy other activities such as playing tennis, traveling, and all-around shopping!
